Temple Beth Hillel Brotherhood’s mission is to provide meaningful service to our congregation and the community, deepen our relationships with each other, and have a lot of fun along the way!
We are dedicated to Tikkun Olam, repair of this world, through active involvement in youth education, adult education, social action, spirituality and fellowship activities, all of which contribute to the enrichment of our lives and those of the rest of our synagogue community. During the recent challenging months, Brotherhood connected virtually with meaningful events until in-person events resumed.
Brotherhood meets on the first Thursday of each month to socialize and plan our events and activities. We invite you to attend and help chart the course for the months ahead.
Along with serving as Ozerem (ushers) during the High Holidays, we provide a “break the fast” bite after the Neilah Service on Yom Kippur. As our schools open, we hold a pancake breakfast on the first day of school and help host the “Shabbaque” and oversee our “Sukkah-putta-uppa”.- working together we literally “raise the roof” of TBH’s Sukkah. With Women of TBH, we’ve celebrated and enjoyed “Sushi & Saki in the Sukkah”.
FEAST OF CARING
For over twenty years this has been our signature award winning event, where Brotherhood leads TBH in preparing and serving meals to as many as 800 members of the community who might not otherwise have a Thanksgiving dinner. Neither rain nor pandemic has stopped us from truly giving meaning to the word “caring” – in 2020 and 2021 we pivoted to a delivery-based program. Everyone from the youngest school members to senior citizens is invited to participate
OTHER TBH COMMUNITY EVENTS
Brotherhood’s monthly Poker Game has been a great success online, and we hope to return to occasional in-person games soon.
Join us on the second Tuesday of each month.

Our traditional “Movie Night” has been a great opportunity to enjoy a meal provided by Brotherhood, sit back with your fellow congregants, and relax and watch a movie.
Brotherhood participates in numerous other TBH events, including the Purim Carnival, Mitzvah Day and our Brotherhood Minyan. During the course of the year we also join with Women of TBH and our national parent organization, Men of Reform Judaism, for several amazing events.
Watch the weekly e-blasts for dates and details, and we will also post details here. Shalom!!
